Lucky Taiwan Quiz Winners

The Taiwan Quiz at the Ferie07 travel fair at Bella Center in late January drew more than 1,000 participants who competed for attractive prizes. Shortly after the fair, Representative Frederic P.N. Chang along with the entire staff at the Taipei Representative Office drew the winners of the 2 top prizes – a free return flight to Taipei on China Airlines – and 20 additional prizes in the form of stylish DVD gift boxes introducing many charms and aspects of Taiwan’s nature, culture and history.
The 2 lucky winners of China Airlines tickets were Mr. Ravi Sejling from Frederiksberg and Mr. Søren Winkel Jensen from Vanløse, and both winners were presented with their prizes at a lively gathering at the Representative Office on February 6. With the whole TRO staff present, Representative Chang congratulated the 2 winners and wished them a happy and wonderful trip to Taiwan.
“I’ve never won anything as big as this before,” Mr. Jensen said upon receiving his ticket voucher, thrilled now to be able to add Taiwan to an already long list of Asian countries visited. Mr. Sejling, who, ironically, happens to work just down the street from the Taipei Office, was equally excited about being drawn as a 1st prize winner, and when informed of his luck simply responded with the words: “Are you kidding?! That is so cool!” This will also be his first visit to Taiwan.
