【NOTE】2012 International youth culture and Study Tour to the Republic of China (Taiwan)

l  Objective

The 12-day tour, base on the theme “discovering Taiwan”, aims to provide youths from Europe, Africa and Latin America with an opportunity to better understand the Republic of China (Taiwan) from a wide variety of perspectives, such as history, culture, ecology, technology, politics and governmental policies. At the same time, the youths will get to learn more about the culture of the other participants.

l  Date: July 9 – July 20, 2012

l  Eligibility

Dutch applicants should be between 20 and 40 years old, unless otherwise approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), holding position as either government officials, assistants to members of parliament, research fellows or think tank researchers, young leaders in political parties or opinion leaders from Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) concerned with international affairs.

l  Expense:

Accommodations, meals, local transportation and tuition fees will be paid by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of ROC (Taiwan).

*Participants will be responsible for their own airfare

l  Deadline of application: April 6, 2012

*For applications submitted by postal mail, postmark serves as a proof.
