The Mind-Body Interface (MBI) Laboratory3 at China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan invites applications worldwide for postdoctoral fellowships. Conducted by Kuan-Pin Su, MD, PhD, our laboratory emphasizes interdisciplinary clinical and basic science research in fields spanning biological psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychoneuroimmunology, and behavioral neuroscience within Taiwan and internationally. Our research team aims to explore the underlying biological mechanism of depression by conducting studies which focus on the anti-depressant effect of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). Recently, we have extended our collaboration with Department of Medical Imaging to further investigate the theta-burst transcranial magnetic stimulation (TBS) treatment on depression patients. We welcome foreign young scientists who majors in life science, or medicine to join our research team. We are seeking SELF-MOTIVATED AND GOAL-DRIVEN postdoctoral candidates, with a PhD or MD/PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, microbiology, or related area. Candidates who are diligent and responsible with demonstrable competence are a must. Good lab skills, such as tissue culture, IP, IF, FACS, PCR, etc will be a plus.
