Taiwan Top 20 Global Brands 2011

A remarkably successful push into the smartphone market has seen HTC rise to the top of this year’s poll, which boasts some exciting new breakthroughs for Taiwanese businesses. Last year’s top two brands Acer and Asus have been promoted to the US$1.5 Billion Branding Club and the entire top 10 total brand value breaks the US$10 billion mark, thanks to great achievements in the development of the European, North American and emerging markets. Joining this year’s heroes HTC (whose US$3,605 billion brand value ranks above automotive giants Ferrari and Harley Davidson on the top 100 global brands list), is some exciting fresh blood. The debut appearances of 85°C, Delta and KGI reflect Taiwan’s diverse and impressive brand roster, penetrating a large number of sectors across the board.
