Cultural Center

Introduction

In order to serve overseas Chinese, strengthen the liaison of overseas Chinese communities, promote overseas cultural and educational work, and assist overseas business, the Culture Center was established at 5377 New Peachtree Road, Chamblee, in China Town area by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission (OCAC) of Taiwan, R.O.C. At present, there are a director and two staff members in the center, providing services from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, Tuesday to Sunday. Equipped with computer room, language center, conference room, multiple-use auditorium, and library, the center cooperates with overseas Chinese and their organizations to supply diversified services, including  ESL program, Chinese-interface computer class, calligraphy class, choreography class, medicine lecture, and law lecture. In addition, there also exists a variety of cultural or art exhibits to help enrich overseas Chinese's lives, widen their social view, enhance their living skills, and encourage overseas people to join their local mainstream society.

Keeping the spirit of serving people as customers, the Culture Center in Atlanta always provides a variety of services for all overseas Chinese people who support R.O.C. government and love Taiwan. The center is not only a center of culture, education, and service, but also a bridge between the government and overseas Chinese. We welcome overseas people to attend the activities held by OCAC and the center, and we also wish all overseas Chinese people will persistently uphold R.O.C. to disseminate the notion of democracy, and together create a gorgeous future.
