<p>“2011 Taiwan Fellowship” to Accept Applications From July<BR/>To promote international academic exchanges, “The Taiwan Fellowship”,sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan), will accept the application between July 1st and 31st August, 2011. It is to encourage academics worldwide conducting the research in Taiwan’s universities or research institutes in 2012 with the time frame from three months to one year variously. The subjects of the field study are limited to social sciences, such as Taiwan studies, cross Taiwan Strait studies, mainland China Studies, Asia Pacific studies and Sinology.<BR/>A successful applicant will be offered research stipends of either NTD 50,000 or NTD 60,000 (about RM 5,000 or RM 6,000) for each month and airfare subsidies. The list of successful applicants will be released in November of<BR/>this year.<BR/>Applicants should submit their applications to this office between 1st July and 31st August, 2011.  <P></p>
