Central Florida celebrates the Inauguration of President Ma Ying-jeou with fireworks

The city of Tavares in central Florida celebrated the Inauguration of President Ma Ying-jeou of the Republic of China (Taiwan) during The 10th Annual Dragon Boat Festival with fireworks and flags of this democratic country. At the opening ceremony, Robert Wolfe, mayor of Tavares, expressed his appreciation to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Miami and Florida Chinese Business Association for their support.

Director General Mou of TECO said: “President Ma likes to do many kinds of sport. He is now visiting Africa to reinforce the humanitarian projects as a responsible partner of the international community.”

Hon. Dan Webster, US Congressman for central Florida’s congressional district also attended the ceremony of Dragon Boat race.
