About TECO-Miami

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Miami is one of the 12 offices under the Washington D.C.-based Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO). Established in 1991, TECO in Miami pursuants to the Taiwan Relations Act of the United States for the purpose of promoting the economic, cultural and educational relations between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the United States. It represents Taiwan's interests in the State of Florida, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas.

TECO in Miami consists of consular services, press liaision, and overseas Chinese services. The consular services start 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday.
