Taipei, March 20 (CNA)
The number of jobs in March have increased by 16.6 percent, reaching more than 337,000 vacancies compared with the figure for January, according to the result of an online survey released Tuesday.
The survey, conducted by the 104 online job bank, said 36 percent of the jobs were in the manufacturing and technology sectors, comparing with the rate of 33 percent for the two sectors two months ago.
As many big firms have expanded their production capacity recently, recruitment in the high-tech industry has increased by more than 20 percent during the period, according to the survey.
Although the employment outlook remains positive, the number of jobs is still less than the almost 400,000 openings available last March, the survey results show.
