Director General Yang and Dr. Charles Ambrose, President of the Uiversity of Central Missouri, signed the Letter of Intent on the Designation of Taiwan Academy Contact Point

Director General Jack Yang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Kansas City and Dr. Charles Ambrose, President of University of Central Missouri(UCM), signed the Letter of Intent on the Designation of Taiwan Academy Contact Points and Bilateral Cooperation in the campus on April 30th, 2012.
The establishment of the Taiwan Academy Contact Point in UCM will enhance bilateral exchange in the areas of culture, education and adademia, in paticular those topics related to Taiwan, Mainland China and Chinese culture, by utilizing the resources offered by institutions and authorities in Taiwan to promote Chinese culture with Taiwan characteristics.
Dr. Joy Stevenson, Diector of International Center of the UCM coordinated with Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Kansas City for this matter.
