Taiwan’s participation in Brussels Holiday Fair a big success
Taiwan participated in the Brussels Holiday Fair from 2 to 5 February, in the hope of enthusing the Belgian audience to go visit Taiwan. Over 40 journalists and tourism professionals attended the press event in the Taiwan booth on 2 February, where they were welcomed by Dr. Wanli Wang, Deputy Representative from the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium.
Visitors enjoyed calligraphy demonstrations, a tea ceremony, Taiwanese single malt whisky tasting, the colorful appearance of a folkloric figure, and the comfort of China Airlines’ brand new business cabin on display in the booth. Overall, the Taiwan booth was deemed to be a great success, given the large turnout of visitors and the considerable amount of travelers who decided to put Taiwan on their ‘bucket list’.
