Taiwan foods awarded top quality ratings in Brussels

At the 2017 ‘Superior Taste Awards’, organized by the Brussels-based International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi), over 100 Taiwanese products, ranging from whisky to sweets, coffee and tea, were selected from blind taste tests by judges from the most prestigious European culinary and sommelier associations. On 14 June, several representatives from the winning corporations attended the official award ceremony in Brussels. The next day, they were invited for lunch at the Representative Office, where Representative Ho-jen Tseng praised Taiwan for its palatable and high quality food and beverages. Afterwards, multiple food and drinks professionals presented their products, offering free tastings and samples.
