On June 29, Mr. Stephen A. Kremer, Port Director of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security, graciously welcomed TECO Director-General Larry Tseng and colleagues at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
Mr. Tseng gave a presentation about Taiwan to security personnel, in hopes that mutual understanding will enhance the relationship between the Department and Taiwan. Mr. Tseng spoke about the Republic of China’s democratic society, high-tech economy and dynamic, diverse culture. He explained the functions of TECO and noted that the office is a resource for Taiwanese travelers encountering difficulties.
Mr. Kremer led a tour of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection operational facilities, acquainting TECO staff members with the processes travelers encounter.
