The Taiwan Tourism Bureau and National Immigration Agency will give out a limited supply of “Tour Taiwan – Double Tenth National Day Celebration” gifts.
It’s Time for Taiwan! Taiwan warmly welcomes overseas tourists to come here and celebrate the Double Tenth National Day.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China (ROC), and to warmly welcome visitors to Taiwan during this time, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Tourism Bureau and the Ministry of the Interior’s National Immigration Agency will jointly give away “Tour Taiwan – Double Tenth National Day Celebration” gifts on Double Tenth National Day on Oct. 10. The gifts will be handed out at all international airports and international harbors to visitors entering Taiwan on foreign passports. Each person can receive one of the gifts.
To show Taiwan’s warmth and welcoming, the Tourism Bureau has specially made limited edition National Day red three-dimensional envelope cards. The cards show the combined logo of the centenary and Taiwan tourism promotion logos. Each card also contains two ROC 100th year $NT10 coins.
In recent years, under efforts by various sectors of society, Taiwan’s tourism has made a name for itself internationally. Through the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country, we hope to show international tourists our friendly and hospitable side. We hope tourists will leave here with great experiences that they can share with their friends and family back home. And we hope they will visit Taiwan again.
This gift giveaway activity will begin at the start of Oct. 10th at 00:01 a.m. local time. Since there’s a limited supply of the gifts, the activity will end when all the gifts have been given away. The gifts will be handed out to visitors by immigration officers when they check passports at the immigration counters.
We welcome everyone from around the world to travel to Taiwan and celebrate the Double Tenth National Day!
