Taiwan and the US Signed the Arrangement for Technical Cooperation in the Caribbean

On April 10, Taiwan Representative to the US Ambassador Alexander Yui and Managing Director Ingrid Larson of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) signed the Arrangement for Technical Cooperation in the Caribbean, under which USAID and TaiwanICDF will further strengthen their cooperation to the benefit of the peoples of St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Ambassador Michael Lin had the pleasure of witnessing the signing ceremony online with US Ambassador to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean and the OECS Roger Nyhus, USAID Special Representative to Eastern and Southern Caribbean Mervyn Farroe, Taiwan Ambassador to St. Lucia Peter Chen, and Taiwan Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Fiona Huei-Chun Fan.
With a shared commitment to promoting shared values, including democracy, respect for human rights, transparency, and the rule of law, Taiwan and the US will continue in efforts to strengthen our global partnership to better assist the development in St. Kitts and Nevis and the Caribbean region.
