Call for Entries – “Global Congratulations” International Painting Competition

As part of the Republic of China’s (ROC) centenary celebrations, Radio Taiwan International (RTI), the ROC’s national broadcaster, invites foreign nationals to celebrate this historic occasion through paintings. The top three prize winners will win a cash prize of up to US$1,000 and a 7-day, 6-night package tour and Taiwan.

Entries must include elements about Taiwan and the digits ‘100’. Submissions will be accepted until June 30, 2011. A panel of five judges will select the 100 most creative works. Those paintings will be exhibited in the “Global Congratulations On-line Gallery,” with an on-line vote to be held at the same time.

The selected 100 entries will also be shown in an outdoor projection exhibit at the Chiang Kai-shek memorial Hall during national day celebrations in October.
