To expedite the application process, visa application forms can also be filled in online from 1 to 31 March 2012 toward an overall standard practice in due course

Although the current handwriting visa application forms continue to be accepted, from 1 to 31 March 2012, visa application forms can also be filled in online at https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw. Please then print out this form once completed and deliver it to the Taipei Representative Office in the UK (TRO) with two standard passport photos. The online process will become standard practice in due course.

There is no need to make an appointment for visa applications at the TRO; we accept walk-in applications from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday to Friday. You will need to provide your passport, application form and supporting documents when submitting your application.

This online application trial is part of a wider move by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to improve and streamline the application and decision-making process for visa applicants.
