To provide better educational opportunities for underprivileged children in remote indigenous villages, a group of educators and business leaders established Taiwan Vox Nativa Association. Alongside this initiative, Vox Nativa Children's Choir was founded. "The choir consists of children from the Bunun indigenous tribe, living at the foot of Taiwan’s highest mountain, Yushan (Jade Mountain). Despite growing up in remote areas, these children dedicate themselves to learning and singing with heartfelt passion. Their voices, pure, clear, and harmonious, resonate like a heavenly melody and are often described as the most soothing and healing sound.
In May 2010, the choir was invited to perform at the Shanghai World Expo, marking the beginning of their recognition on the international stage. Since then, they have been invited to perform at major national celebrations and events both domestically and abroad, leaving footprints across more than ten countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Their singing style retains its traditional simplicity while carrying a pure and contemporary resonance, earning them the title of " The Voice that Transcends Tradition and Modernity." In 2015, the choir was invited to Vienna Boys’ Choir School, where they held a joint concert, becoming the first Asian children's choir to be officially invited to the prestigious institution in its 517-year history. In 2024, when the King’s Singers from the UK visited Taiwan for their Asia Tour, the first stop was to visit Vox Nativa Children's Choir, where they held a joint concert.
Vox Nativa Children's Choir has been performing for 17 years. Its unique vocal style and pure, crystal-clear sound have made it one of Taiwan’s most distinctive and representative children's choirs.
