Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia is delighted to have been able to bring our Study-in-Taiwan information stall to the 2023 Exchange Fairs of two universities in New South Wales, Australia: University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Macquarie University on 28 and 29 March, 2023.
We were amazed at the great turn out and the wonderful vibe of the events. During the fairs, students explored the study-abroad opportunity by meeting host university partners from countries all around the world, government institutes, faculties and departments of student mobility teams.
Partner universities, for instance, National Taiwan University was invited to present programs. Exchange students at UNSW & Macquarie that come from their overseas host universities also shared their exchange experiences at the stalls. Jessica Chenge, studies a Bachelor of Law at Taiwan’s National Chengchi University and now exchanged to UNSW for a semester. She was presenting her first-hand exchange experience to UNSW students during the fair.
Both university's Student Mobility Teams were enthusiastic and available to answer questions about studying overseas, their partner universities, government funding opportunities, and much more!
It's a wonderful platform to strengthen bilateral exchanges in Higher Education between Taiwan and Australia. We are confident that this will increase the number of outbound students visiting Taiwan in the near future.
