The original copy of a divorce order issued by a Court must first be certified by the WA or ACT Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (From the state where the document was issued).
Include a photocopy of your passport (Photocopy of ID must be certified by Justice of Peace).
Postal-applicants:Prepaid envelope for return of documents.Applications lodged by post or courier should also include self-addressed postage prepaid envelope (Express Post Platinum, Express Post and Registered Post B4 size（353mm×250mm）only) or courier satchel for the return of documents.
5. Fees:$22 Dollars for each document. (Expedited service suspended)Expedited services for urgent application can be requested by paying an additional 50% of Authentication fees, which is AUD11. Payment must be made in cash (not for mailing application) bank cheque or money order and payable to the "Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia".
*Personal cheque and online bank transfer will not be accepted.
Please Note:This office can only verify those signatures of The Department of the Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) are genuine on the divorce order. The effect of judgement is not included.
