Visitor Visa (Stay duration less than 180 days) categories
Currently visa-free entry into Taiwan is resumed (66 countries, including Australia, passport holders grant visa-exempt entry ).
All types of visitor visa allow single entry only and duration of stay is no longer than 90 days.
If you plan to stay to stay over 90 and under 180 days, please visit Immigration Service Centers and apply for visa extension after entering Taiwan.
Resident Visa (Stay duration more than 180 days) categories

Please visit our Document Legalization Section if there are documents need to be provided or authenticated as support materials for your visa application or need to be used after entering Taiwan. Due to consular jurisdiction, this Office only accepts documents issued by the New South Wales State government, including National Police Check. If you applied Australian Federal Police Checks, it will need to be authenticated by our Office in Canberra. Please contact them directly for document authentication process.
Applications are subject to rejection if applicants failed to present requested information. Supporting documents if needed legalization must be issued by NSW state government. For documents not issued by NSW state government must be notarized by the public notary first before submitting to this Office.
All verbal abuse to our staffs or false statements will not be tolerated. Any evidence of such behavior may result the rejection of your visa application.
Application fee is not refundable.
