The 13th Taiwan-Luxembourg Joint Business Council Meeting was successfully convened today! More than 100 participants attended this online event, and nearly 20 companies have registered for the follow-up B2B matchmaking!
During the meeting, both sides engaged in substantial exchanges on two main subjects: “Smart Mobility” and “Cybersecurity and Fintech”. Topics covered included industry policies; trends and technology development; the business ecosystem; autonomous vehicles and smart transportation systems; electronic maps; financial cybersecurity; integrated services for cybersecurity; privacy and digitalisation; and many others.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Tsai Ming-Yen noted the potential for further cooperation between Taiwan and Luxembourg, as the two not only share common values, but also have complementary industries.
In view of these commonalities, Tsai declared it time for Taiwan and Luxembourg to work together and explore more opportunities for businesses, so as to boost economic recovery in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic!
