Our appreciation to the Formosa Club for supporting Lithuania in developing relations with Taiwan

We sincerely appreciate that the Co-Chairs and members of the Formosa Club co-signed a joint letter addressed to Charles Michel, President of the European Council; Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission; David Maria Sassoli, President of the European Parliament; and Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, urging the European Union and NATO to take concrete actions to demonstrate solidarity with Lithuania and support its decision to expand ties with Taiwan.
We firmly believe that, in the face of the challenges posed by authoritarian regimes, democracies must stand together and protect the common values that we hold so dear. It is vital to display a united front now so that we can harness our collective strength!
