On 7th April, we were honored to host a distinguished guest from Taiwan, Mrs. Chia-Ching HSU, the Deputy Minister of Overseas Community Affairs Council. Deputy Minister HSU took part in the overseas community working dinner hosted by our Office, along with more than 40 honorary representatives and leaders of different overseas communities.
Ambassador Ming-Yen TSAI, Deputy Minister Chia-Ching HSU and Council Member Shan-Lin LAI acted as the keynote speakers for the event, sharing their viewpoints on issues including the strategies for promoting the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning, Taiwan’s current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, and overseas business projects. Through the speeches and the feedback from the audience present, all sides were able to come away from the evening more informed on issues concerning Taiwanese abroad. Held in a warm and genial atmosphere, the event was considered a successful and enjoyable evening by all.
