The third high-level meeting of the EU-U.S. Dialogue on China expresses EU-U.S. concern over the peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait

On 21 April, European External Action Service Secretary General Stefano Sannino and United States Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman held the third high-level meeting of the EU-U.S. Dialogue on China. In the EU-US joint press release, both sides underscored the importance of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait to regional and global security and prosperity. They expressed their support for the peaceful resolution of cross-Strait issues, and discouraged any actions, which undermine the status quo. We would like to express our gratitude and welcome the EU-U.S.’s joint statement. Taiwan will continue to strengthen its cooperation with the EU in all areas.
