Procedure :
- Download and fill in the registration form
- Transfer the registration fees of 25 euro for the TOCFL, or 20 euro for the TOCFL-Novice to the account of the Education Division, Taipei Representative Office in The EU& Belgium :
- IBAN : BE21 0012 9455 2603
- BIC : GEBA BE BB
- Name : Kelly Van de Paer, and add as note : ‘Your name and TOCFL-NL or TOCFL-Novice-NL’
- Then send (1) the registration form, (2) the proof of payment (digital document or scan), to belgium2@mail.moe.gov.tw
- Download and keep the Personal Data Processing Consent Form for your information.
Remarks :
- Participants will receive a confirmation of their registration.
- The registration fee will not be returned and postponement of participation is not possible.
The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) is aimed at people who aren’t native Chinese speakers. The test has seven levels according to the knowledge of the participants. The test-taker can freely choose the test version either in simplified or traditional characters.

All participants will receive a document with their test results. Those who pass the exam also receive a certificate which can serve as credential for applying for a Taiwan scholarship, applying for admission to the academic programs at colleges and universities in Taiwan, getting a job, etc.
Please note that the certificate of TOCFL-Novice test will be issued by the Steering Committee for the Test Of Proficiency-Huayu, but not by the Ministry of Education. We invite you to visit the website “SC-TOP” and download some simulation tests at :
