"2025 Taiwan Research Day" Co-Hosted by Science Division and KU Leuven on April 9th

On April 9, 2025, KU Leuven will celebrate its 600th anniversary by co-hosting "Taiwan Research Day" with our Science Division. This event aims to bring together leading scholars and experts from Taiwan, Belgium, and the Netherlands in the fields of microelectronics and micro/nano ecosystem systems for a full-day symposium.
Distinguished speakers from KU Leuven, Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (imec), Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, Tainan University, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, and Eindhoven University of Technology will participate in this event, delivering keynote speeches and engaging in panel discussions. The event will also feature startup company representatives to discuss industry-academia exchange and innovative collaborations.
In addition to the semiconductor-focused academic symposium, the National Science Council's Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) team will host a special session on "Biorefining for Carbon Reduction and Sustainable Development," while UCLouvain will showcase achievements from their startup enterprises.
