The Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium hosted a luncheon to commend Le Cercle de Tai Chi on May 2, 2025

On the morning of May 2, 2025, the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium held a recognition ceremony and luncheon to honor Master LEUNG, President of Le Cercle de Tai Chi, and his students.

Master Leung has been a long-time advocate of cultural exchange and public engagement within the overseas Taiwanese community. Through teaching Tai Chi in Belgium, he has shared traditional Chinese culture with over a hundred students. Over the years, he has also organized regular group visits to Taiwan, deepening people-to-people connections and encouraging international tourism to Taiwan.

To acknowledge these continued efforts, Ambassador Roy Lee awarded 16 medals to Master Leung and members of Le Cercle de Tai Chi who participated in the cultural trips to Taiwan. In his remarks, Ambassador Lee expressed heartfelt gratitude for their role as goodwill ambassadors in strengthening cultural ties between Taiwan and Belgium.

In response, Master Leung and his students expressed their great honor in receiving the medals and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Taiwan and further promoting cultural exchange between our two countries.
