【Notification】 Starting from October 1, 2025, the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) Will Be Fully Online - Please Complete It Before Entering Taiwan to Facilitate

Since May 2025, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) has launched the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) online system. Currently, both online and paper versions are accepted. However, starting from October 1, 2025, only the online version will be available, and paper cards will no longer be accepted.
Applicable to:
1. Foreign travelers
2. Mainland Chinese travelers
3. ROC nationals without household registration (i.e., no ID number in passport)
4. Residents of Hong Kong and Macao
Travelers are required to present their passport (or travel document) and complete the Taiwan Arrival Card before passing through immigration.
You may complete the TWAC online up to 3 days before departure to ensure a smoother entry process and reduce waiting time at the airport.
