- Programme
The Programme is designed to develop participants’ Mandarin skills through in-door classes and extracurricular activities. Participants will also make on site visits to broaden their knowledge of Taiwan’s society and multi-faceted culture. The Programme will provide opportunities to not only learn the language skills, but also gain a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan as a society as well as a nation.

- Travel expense
One Brussels-Taipei round-trip air ticket of economy class up to €1,400, to be reserved by accepted applicants via indicated travel agencies.
- Hotel accommodation from 11 Aug - 22 Aug, 2019
Eleven nights, to be reserved by the host university.
- Application Procedure:
1)Fill out the attached application form, together with curriculum vitae (with a photo) and a reference letter from the working unit; send them to the Education Division of Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium, by email (belgium2@mail.moe.gov.tw) before the deadline of April 30, 2019.
2)The final result will be announced by June 10, 2019, and the applicants will be informed individually.

Once accepted, please note the followings:
1) The Programme is designed for the purpose of enabling EU officials to gain an in-depth and multi-faceted understanding of both Mandarin Chinese and Taiwan culture. While partners and/or family are welcome to accompany participants to Taiwan at their own expense, requests for partners/family to participate in any part of the Programme cannot be considered.
2) Should the participant decide to change their flight booking or cancel the trip, he/she will be fully responsible for costs incurred.
