With a view to encouraging outstanding international students to undertake degree studies in Taiwan, the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is offering the "Taiwan Scholarship" program. Brunei citizens with a high-school diploma or post-secondary degree(s), an excellent academic record and good moral character are invited to apply for the program. The R.O.C (Taiwan) nationals or overseas Chinese students, those who have registered or obtained student status at any university/college in Taiwan, and graduating students pursuing further studies are ineligible to apply for the scholarship.
There are 2 quotas for Brunei citizens to apply for the scholarship. Should the number of applicants exceeds the allocated quota, the approval shall be granted in accordance with the regulations of the said program. Only successful candidates will be notified.
