Belize begs for Taiwan’s involvement in the United Nations

Fifteen countries have written to the United Nations (UN) requesting that the Republic of China (ROC) Taiwan, be included in the UN.
Belize has joined in the call to include Taiwan in the UN. Paraguay, Swaziland, Nauru, Haiti, Burkina Faso, Palau, Tuvalu, Kiribati, St. Lucia, the Solomon Islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Marshall Islands, St Kitts and Nevis, and Nicaragua have also joined in the call.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked those nations.
“The government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) expresses appreciation to the 15 diplomatic allies that have written to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in support of Taiwan’s participation in the UN system,” said the statement.
