Ambassador Remus Li-Kuo Chen was elated when invited to witness the Air Services Agreement between the Government of Belize and the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) being inked on September 28, 2020. Hon. Manuel Heredia, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Belize and Hon. Dr. Chia-lung Lin, Minister of Transportation and Communications of Taiwan are the representatives from both sides to sign the Agreement. Once enforced by this agreement, the designated airlines by both sidescan operate unlimited passenger and cargo flights between Belize and Taiwan via any intermediate points and extend their flights to any beyond points. In the future, they can also provide convenient scheduled air services or cooperate with each other through code-sharing.
We look forward to seeing strengthened ties between Belize and Taiwan in trade and tourism and the consolidated friendship between our two peoples.
