Ambassador David Kuna-Chou Chien paid a courtesy call on June 16 to H.E. Froyla Tzalam, Governor-General of Belize and not only presented the congratulatory letter signed by President Tsai Ing-wen of the Republic of China (Taiwan), but also conveyed President Tsai’s most sincere greetings. Ambassador Chien and H.E. Froyla Tzalam had a very pleasant conversation on the topics of indigenous people’s culture & rights, public health, demographic structure, national development, global warming, climate change and environmental conservation. Both pledged to further strengthen the steadfast relationship between Belize and Taiwan.
