Taiwan keeps standing with the people of Belize!
Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien, jointly with Hon. Gilroy Usher, Minister of State in the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics and E-Governance & Area Representative, met the people who suffered from the fires occurred in Port Loyola of Belize City in March and handed over the Embassy’s donation to help them tide over the difficulties. During the meeting, Ambassador Chien gave warm regards to Ms. Ischelle Jeffords, a single mom of 5 children, and Mr. Horace Lord, who both lost everything in the fires. We hope that the small donation from the Embassy will encourage more charitable funds to assist the victims rebuilding their homes.
The Embassy will keep working closely with the Government of Belize to further advance the benefits and welfare of our two peoples!
