Today, Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien, jointly with Hon. Kevin Arthurs, CEO of Ministry of Home Affairs & New Growth Industry, Mr. Bart Jones, Deputy Commissioner of Belize Police Department, Mr. Laslie Wade, Director of NPTA, had the pleasure to attend the inauguration ceremony of Taiwan-Belize Mandarin Program at National Police Training Academy in Belmopan. This program aims to provide police officers in Belize with opportunities of learning Mandarin and to knowing more about Taiwan’s culture, which also helps implement capacity building program of Belize Police Department.
Through the said Mandarin Program and many other bilateral cooperation projects, the Embassy will continue to work hand-in-hand with Government of Belize for the benefits of our two countries and peoples.
