On July 19, Ambassador Lily Li-Wen Hsu had the pleasure to attend the Closing Ceremony of “Empowering Women through Integrated Aquaponics in Community Garden” training program implemented by the Benque Viejo Town Council, under the Taiwan-Belize Women’s Empowerment Project.
The Embassy extends appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Belize, the Benque Viejo Town Council and the Taiwan Technical Mission for the collaboration on this meaningful program to promote women’s participation and engagement in community gardening activities, thereby
promoting healthy eating habits and enhancing self-sufficiency and food security for both the women and the community.
