We are pleased that Dr. Marco Tulio Mendez, chairman of National Health Insurance Committee of Belize is leading a delegation to visit Taiwan from Sep 2 to Sep. 6. The purpose of their visit is to participate in the “APEC Workshop on Advancing Health Technology Assessment for Sustainable Universal Health Coverage”.
The delegation will also meet with NHI- related Taiwanese government officials and visit relevant institutions. These meetings will provide invaluable opportunities to exchange views, share experiences, and deepen our cooperation.
The Embassy wishes the delegation a successful and productive visit. We believe such exchange will contribute to the advancement of healthcare in both our nations.
