Today Ambassador Lily Li-Wen Hsu had the honor of handing over a donation of wheelchair from a Taiwanese NGO, the Cao Zhong Zhi Foundation, to the Hon. Kevin Bernard, Minister of Health & Wellness of Belize. The Foundation has long been working with Taiwan Government to provide medical equipment to support physical disabled people in Belize. The loving contribution is a testament to the deep friendship between Taiwan and Belize.
Taiwan remains committed to working closely with the Government of Belize to promote public health and enhance the well-being of the Belizean people. We also sincerely thank the Government of Belize for its continued support of Taiwan’s participation in the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Health Assembly (WHA).
