Implementation Arrangement for the Belize Agricultural Product Processing Innovation and Incubation Project Signed

On Feb. 9 2026, Ambassador Lily Hsu and Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and New Growth Industries, signed the Implementation Arrangement for the Belize Agricultural Product Processing Innovation and Incubation Project. The project aims to assist Belize in building its agro-processing capability and adding values to its agricultural produce. Belize produces abundant good-quality vegetables and fruits, while Taiwan has rich experience in developing agricultural technology. Through this project, Taiwan and Belize will work together to improve agro-processing sector of Belize and further improve farmers’ livelihood.
