Strengthening support for women’s empowerment in Belize

On August 24, Ambassador Amino Chi was delighted to sign jointly with Foreign Minister Hon. Francis Fonseca “the Belize Women and Youth MSMEs Development Project Agreement, a jointly funded initiative supporting women and youth in Belize.
Based on the foundation of the previous women’s empowerment project, Taiwan will share its experience and expertise to train women and youth in Belize in entrepreneurship, equip them with vital vocational skills, and assist them in building their own businesses in tourism, indigenous handicraft, beauty industry and other potential sectors.
As a reliable partner, Taiwan will keep working with Belize to help women and youth to discover their talent and potential.
