2019 TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) and CCCC (Children’s Chinese Competency Certification) Test in Montreal
The 2019 TOCFL/CCCC test will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 27th, 2019, at the Montreal Chinese Catholic School, 979 cote street Montreal, QC H2Z 1L1. Registration starts August 26th till September 23rd. Online registration Only. Welcome the candidates who are non-native speakers of Chinese to take the test.
All levels of TOCFL will be available this year, registration fee is the same for both traditional and simplified character exams. The test fee for Band A, Band B and Band C is $40. There is a new level called Novice, and the test fee is $20. The CCCC test will also be available for all levels, registration fee is $20 for both traditional and simplified character exams.
The TOCFL certificate is an important credential for applicants considering the Republic of China (Taiwan) government-sponsored Taiwan Scholarship and the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. It is also a requirement for admission to various academic programs at colleges or universities in Taiwan for overseas Chinese students. The CCCC test is designed for children aged 7 to 12; it offers an incentive for children to study Chinese, and serves as a guideline to their progress.
The TOCFL is available in both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Participants who passed the test will receive a Chinese Proficiency Certificate, which can be used for academic and professional purposes.
