I. Academic Qualifications
1. Professional specialties in Library & Information, Archival Studies & History, Computer Science & Information Engineering,
Information Management, Publishing Science & Communication, or closely related fields, with outstanding performance or
great potential.
2. Applicants qualified to teach one of the following courses and communication skills in Chinese are preferred:
Core courses: Library & Information Science, Information & Knowledge Organization, Archival Management & Applications,
Digital Humanities.
II. Teacher Qualification Required:
1. Dealing with Teacher Qualification in accordance with “Accreditation Regulations Governing
Teacher Qualifications at Institutions of Higher Education” by Ministry of Education.
2. Applicants should submit documents (1 of 2 below):
(1) Two published papers with publication evaluation comments in last five years
(2) One published book with publication evaluation & publishing certificate in last five years

4. Duplicate of doctoral dissertation and related publications
(Without teacher qualifications, please submit quadruplicate of doctoral dissertation and related publications)

6. Teaching plans consist of course names, descriptions, syllabus(textbooks and references)

V. After going through the first trial stage, candidates will be invited to have an interview and to
deliver an academic speech (at candidates’ own expense).
