The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada participated in the "Study and Go Abroad Fair", held on the afternoon of March 3, 2018, at the Montreal Convention Center to promote the participation of young Canadians to Taiwan’s Working-Holiday program.
The office set up a booth for the exhibition to distribute French and English brochures with information on young internationals who have gone to Taiwan thanks to the Working-Holiday program. It was also available on-site to answer any related questions.
On April 2010, Taiwan and Canada signed a memorandum of understanding on youth mobility. To encourage more young Canadians to work and travel to Taiwan, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada was invited by International Experience Canada of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to participate to the above promotional activities.
