On May 4th, Taiwanese Canadian communities in Greater Toronto held their first rally at the bustling Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown, supporting Taiwan's participation in the World Health Assembly. Hon. MP Juday Sgro, Michael Cooper, and Ali Ehsassi attended to express their support. Taiwan must be included in the WHO and WHA to establish a comprehensive global health network.
Taiwan's black bear mascot attracted the love of both children and adults.
