The overseas compatriots get together to celebrate the 113th Double Tenth National Day of the Republic of China (R.O.C.)!
Director-General Jin-Ling Chen of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Toronto, attends the Double Tenth National Day Celebration held by the Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei/Toronto (TESTT) and gets together with the overseas compatriots in the Greater Toronto Area in celebration of the ROC's 113th Double Tenth National Day!
Director-General Chen states that Taiwan and Canada have forged closer ties in recent years, as evidenced by the signing of the Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA), the Science, Technology, Innovation Arrangement (STIA), and the Collaborative Framework on Supply Chains Resilience. The Taiwanese government will allocate more resources to foster collaboration with Canada in the future. In addition, Taiwan's advanced technological capabilities and its bid to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and other international economic agreements will benefit not just the trade environments between Taiwan and Canada, but also the global community as a whole. Director-General Chen particularly extends gratitude to MP Salma Zahid and MPP Aris Babikian, who are also present, for their ongoing support of Taiwan’s international participation. In closing, Mr. Chen wishes a joyful and prosperous future to all of the attendees!
