Dr. Wu Jie-Cai, Chairman of the Taiwan Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery, led a team of Taiwan’s top medical professionals to Toronto from October 13-17 to attend the 50th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN).
The delegation included prominent neurosurgeons such as Professor Meng-Fai Kuo, Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at National Taiwan University Children’s Hospital, Dr. Chen Hsin-Hung from Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and Professor Tai-Tong Wong from Taipei Medical University, among other specialists. This prestigious event is a major gathering in the field of pediatric neurosurgery worldwide, and the participation of the Taiwanese delegation showcased the nation’s exceptional medical expertise.
On the afternoon of October 15, the delegation visited the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto, where Director General Chen Jin-Ling warmly welcomed them. Director Chen expressed her gratitude for the group’s contributions to promoting Taiwan’s medical diplomacy and enhancing its global visibility.
