The Taiwanese Hakka Association of Toronto holds the event of " Hakka Dragon Boat Festival – Sharing Holiday Blessings" that brings together around 220 Canadian Taiwanese to celebrate the special occasion, share festive wishes, and highlight the unique characteristics of Hakka culture.
Director-General Yi-Peng Liang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Toronto remarks that Taiwan, through its development of freedom and democracy, has demonstrated remarkable vitality and cultural creativity. Hakka culture is the essential foundation of Taiwan’s diverse heritage. He expresses his gratitude to the Taiwanese Hakka Association of Toronto for promoting Hakka culture and helping Canadian society develop a deeper understanding of Taiwan and the profound beauty of Hakka traditions.
