The World Health Organization has designated 2021 the International Year of Health and Care Workers, and launched a year-long campaign under the theme "Protect. Invest. Together." In order to echo this theme and continue expanding Taiwan's visibility in the global public health sector, the TaiwanICDF (the International Cooperation and Development Fund) will host the Webinar on Strengthening the Public Health System for Maintaining Essential Health Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic on May 25, 2021 at 19:00 Taipei Time/13:00 Geneva Time. The webinar will be co-hosted in collaboration with Korea-based INGO Good Neighbors and US-based social enterprise Dimagi Inc. The objective of this webinar is to emphasize the importance of supporting health and care workers to maintain essential health services during the pandemic.
The webinar will be conducted in English and open to anyone interested in the topic. The event will not require registration and will be live broadcasted on YouTube, with Slido used for Q&A during the webinar. All aforementioned weblinks are included below and will be shared on the TaiwanICDF’s official Facebook page on the date of the event as well.
