A New Partnership in Agricultural Education — Working Together to Cultivate a Greener Future for Fiji
Amb. David Cheng-Wei Wu and Dr. Unaisi Nabobo-Baba, Vice-Chancellor of Fiji National University, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in agricultural education, marking another important milestone in agricultural education exchanges between Taiwan and Fiji.
The MOU brings together the Taiwan Technical Mission in Fiji TTM FIJI and FNU’s College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (CAFF) with the shared goal of bringing Taiwan’s experience in agricultural technology, talent development, and hands-on education into the classroom and out into the field.
From seeds to talent, from classrooms to fields, Taiwan and Fiji will work together through educational cooperation, professional exchanges, and sharing practical experience to nurture more young people equipped with modern agricultural knowledge and hands-on skills—bringing new energy and opportunities to Fiji’s agricultural development.
